Let me start by saying I love Brian Goldman’s show on CBC; White Coast Black Art!! I am an admitted CBC nerd! I agree with Dr. Goldmans views in this video and think that we all need to learn from mistakes and that an environment that ignores them and acts as though they do not exist is toxic. I can understand why many people in many professions are hesitant to admit to them though in this world of liabilty and fault. We are told to be truthful and it is held as a moral ideal but admitting to mistakes is often admitting to fault which can have some severe rerpercussions. If this hurdle could be overcome I think some folks would be more forthcoming about their mistakes and see them as opportunities to learn and grow, not just personally, but as a group or profession as a whole as well.
